When art intersects with activism, the results can be powerful. In the Pride Charity Exhibition (virtual), my piece Free became part of a larger dialogue about identity, liberation, and visibility. The Pride exhibition featured works from incredible artists around the world and was in support of the Proud Trust Manchester, England.
Concept of Free: The piece celebrates self-expression in the midst of and the courage to live authentically.
Virtual Format: Showcasing Free online allowed it to reach audiences across borders — echoing the universality of its message.
Reflections
The exhibition highlighted how art can raise awareness and support important causes. I was proud to see Free aligned with a movement that champions equality and inclusion.
